These are the Terms & Conditions for using HalfordsCycle2Work.ie. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, without notice. Any changes will take effect when posted on this website. By using this website you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

UK’s Lowest Price Guarantee
If you can find the same product cheaper within 7 days and within 30 km of the store we will match the price, even against trade outlets. We will not match prices of mail order companies or internet sites. We do not match prices on orders placed online or by phone.
Savings (up to 51%) on a new bike and safety accessories
Savings are based on personal tax rate. Costs are spread over a 12 month period. If the government changes Tax rates, PRSI rates or levies then the savings will also change in accordance.

Price includes all costs incurred by [employer] in running the scheme over a 12 month period. Costs may be used as a guide only, and vary subject to personal taxation.
Assumes all earnings taxable at the 20% rate
Assumes Employee PRSI at 4%
Assumes Health levy at 4%
Income levy: assumes rate of 2% i.e. earnings of greater than €25,000 but less than €75,000
Assumes basic rate threshold exceeded and balance of earnings taxable at the 41% rate
Assumes Employee PRSI at 4% (not applicable for earnings > €75,000)
Assumes Health levy at 4% (rises to 5% if earnings > €100,100)
Income levy: assumes rate of 2% i.e. earnings of greater than €25,000 but less than €75,000
Once applications are approved, notify Halfords who will post the letter of collection (voucher) within 4 working days.* (T’s & C’s) apply
Once Halfords receive your approved application we will issue your Letter of Collection (Voucher) within 3 – 5 working days.
Free Bike Care Plan
Your Cycle2Work Letter of Collection ( or voucher) will give you the opportunity to take advantage of the FREE Bike Care Plan when you redeem your Letter of Collection in-store. This will be valid for one year from the date of redeeming your Letter of Collection (or voucher).
The following applies:
FREE BIKE CARE PLAN for all employees providing free labour on all maintenance and repairs
Parts & accessories must be purchased from Halfords
Completions of work will be subject to parts and staff availability
Pre-booking may be required.
Service will only be provided for the bike specified on the membership document.
Bikes must be returned to the store to access the service.
Pricing & Availability
All items are subject to availability; occasionally we may be unable to supply an item. Whilst we do everything possible to ensure our web prices are correct, the nature of the document does not allow live time changes and some of the prices are subject to change. All prices are correct at the time of going to print (May 09) but may vary during the life of the document. If an administrative error has resulted in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct that price and notify you accordingly. All prices are shown in Euros and include VAT where appropriate.

Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment
We are responsible retailer and in accordance with the WEEE regulations we fully support sound recycling. Halfords is a member of the Distributor (retailer) Take-Back Scheme (DTS) and is therefore not required to take back WEEE items in-store. Instead we encourage our customers to take back WEEE items to the local WEEE collection site (Civic amenity site or local tip) with other recycling materials. See recycle-more.co.uk for more details.
After Sales Service & Guarantees
Where applicable, details of manufacturers guarantees or service arrangements will be provided with the product. After-sales service and warranty / gurantee claims will initially be dealt with by your local Halfords store.
